Wow! Extreme trust for gov’t almost tripled under Duterte admin ~Share
Can you believe it! In 2017, Eighty percent of all Filipinos now trust the government! Under President B.S. Aquino in 2015, it used to be only 50%, but in less than a year under Duterte, 80% of all Filipinos trust our government.
I don't think this level of trust in government has ever happened before
It must be so frustrating for the Yellowtards. It seems like the harder they try to bring DUTERTE down, the stronger he gets. Well, as the saying goes, you can't bring a good man down.
Because of President Rody Duterte, Filipinos have an extreme trust with the government. Who would have imagined that trust in government would “almost” triple in just a year. This trust rating was based on a nationwide survey showed on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
The fifth Philippine Trust Index (PTI) revealed 80 percent of Filipinos in 2017 trust the government, a drastic increase of 30 percentage points from 50 percent in 2015.
Extreme trust rating in the government almost tripled—from 12 percent in 2015 to 29 percent in 2017, or a rise of 17 percentage points.
The company that did led the research is communications agency named EON. They collected responses from 1,200 Filipinos aged 18 and above from March to April 2017.
Among these pool was a sample of 600 “informed public,” or Filipinos who were at least 25 years old with at least three years of tertiary education and tune in to news updates at least twice a week.
Reacting to the good news, the Palace said it was elated by 'very good' public satisfaction ratings
A statement made by the President's spokesman Ernesto Abella said the Palace welcomed a recent Social Weather Station (SWS) survey which showed a high level of public appreciation and support for the Duterte administration.
“We appreciate the people’s recognition of the efforts and hard work of the government as public appreciation on the Duterte administration continues to remain 'very good' at +64,” Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella said at a press briefing in Malacañan.
“As a result, the Duterte administration posted the highest first four-quarter average net satisfaction rating ever recorded," he added. Abella also expressed elation over another survey showing the President as being the "most decisive" official among the country’s top officials.
“We are gratified that 90 percent of Filipinos considered the President as the most decisive and caring government official based on the nationwide survey by Publicus Asia,” he said.
“The results affirm the very high trust approval and satisfaction ratings of the President in other surveys. The pulse also affirm[s] the hard work and responsiveness of the government and its key officials in serving our people,” the Palace official added.
Noting that since ratings always vary, Abella said the government is determined to redouble its efforts and work even harder for the advancement of the country.
