NOT IN THE NEWS! - Watch Duterte answer Hong Kong's representative to APEC ~Share

After President Rody Duterte's speech before business leaders in Da Nang, Vietnam, Anthony John Liddell Nightingale CMG, SBS, a Hong Kong businessman and Hong Kong's representative to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Advisory Council, asked President Rody Duterte a question about globalization.

Without referring to notes, Duterte answered the question flawlessly and intelligently. The President displayed his deep understanding of the "globalization and protectionism issue" which has affected many lives.

In his answer to Nightingale, Duterte stressed that globalization must not only lead to wealth generation but also equitable wealth distribution. 

Duterte stressed that the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as international fora have a key role in ensuring that those who are left behind in the globalized world will get the help they need.

After listening to Duterte's answer, the question that comes to mind is how would Senator Sonny Trillanes IV or Vice President Leni Robredo have answered the globalization quiz.
