Dialysis Patient Loses Husband to Nurse Who Became Her Friend During Treatment

That’s exactly how dialysis patient Rica De Vera felt when her husband, Niko De Vera, left her for the nurse who had been taking care of her at the treatment facility.
Rica met nurse Vera Mae Barrameda at the hospital where she regularly had her dialysis. Since dialysis sessions take a long time and Rica regularly goes there, she soon became friends with the nurses. In fact, she became close to Vera Mae because they both have seafarer husbands.
While Rica’s husband is devoted to her and her family, Vera Mae’s had lots of mistresses; thus, she divorced him. The two women became good friends at the treatment facility as they shared their burdens, problems, and happiness with each other.
Vera Mae even jokingly asked Rica to help her find a boyfriend among Niko’s friends. When Niko was about to come home, Vera Mae allegedly asked a favor for him to buy her some bra abroad. The couple didn’t really mind because she has become Rica’s good friend and confidant.
Back in the Philippines, Niko was the devoted husband to Rica at first. He personally brought her to the treatment facility and cared for her. But things took a bad turn as he and Vera Mae would soon fall in love.
Despite his wife undergoing regular dialysis and his kids needing him even more at this difficult time in their lives, Niko chose to leave Rica for Vera Mae.
After the nurse wrecked her family, Rica made sure she lost her job at the treatment facility. To her surprise, however, Niko continued to side with Vera Mae and even helped her as she applied for a job abroad. The nurse is now in the US, but Rica hopes to find justice by asking help from Raffy Tulfo in Action.
