A musician dad who traded his musical instruments for 1 sack rice found help in kind netizens who sent the family gcash so that he wouldn’t have to part with all of his instruments so his family can have something to eat.
As a musician, Tatay Milbert Casuga Pajarillo loved his instruments. But recently unable to earn enough money for the family, Tatay Milbert had to part with his precious things so his family can have food.
Though he had collected his musical instruments over the years, Tatay Milbert began selling off his guitar and ukulele. His daughter, Trexy Orlino Pajarillo, knew just how much her dad loved those things. Thus, she promised that when she finishes her education and finds a job, she will buy back the stuff that her dad had sold off so they can eat.
As her dad offered his piano for 1 sack of rice, he played it for one last time. Trexy knew the sadness that her dad felt as he played the instrument; thus, she took a video as he played the instrument.
But people stopped the family from selling Tatay Milbert’s remaining instruments. Many promised to help out, instead.
