Calara is a 38-year-old Filipino who is currently residing in Melbourne, Australia.

Before moving to Australia with his wife, Calara lived in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and founded restaurants with strong focus on Asian food culture particularly Filipino culture. Among these were a restaurant offering boodle fight experience and another that serves unlimited rice.

In his interview with GMA News, Calara mentioned that they decided to build the delivery app to help many Filipinos during the pandemic. He also said that this is a different venture compared with their previous businesses. However, they were not afraid to take the risk.

The food delivery app operates at the southern part of Luzon: Muntinlupa, San Pedro, Binan, Cabuyao, Sta. Rosa, Calamba, GMA, Carmona, Dasmarinas, and Bacoor. They are in partnership with more than 300 restaurants at the south.

He is the CEO and his wife is also a part of this start up business and serves as the CPO. Meanwhile, Calara’s classmate in college – who is the co-founder and is the COO of the business, is in charge of the operations together with his wife. They are currently living in the Philippines.

Calara further shared that their app is focused on on-demand food delivery and they’ve partnered with more than 300 restaurants and movers in the south; delivering freshly made foods from your favorite milk tea shops, Japanese restaurants, Korean restaurants, Filipino restaurants, and many more. They operate in Muntinlupa, San Pedro, Binan, Cabuyao, Sta. Rosa, Calamba, GMA, Carmona, Dasmarinas, and Bacoor.

Come to think of it; through their new business they gave a lot of people the chance to earn as delivery riders as everyone tries to cope during these trying times.
