Filipino-Palestinian beauty queen Gazini Ganados symphatizes for ‘brothers and sisters’ amid Israel-Gaza conflict

Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados offered prayers to her ‘brothers and sisters’ who are currently affected by the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza.

Gazini who represented Cebu during the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 pageant was born in Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte, and was raised by her maternal grandparents.
She competed in the Miss Universe 2019 pageant that was held in Atlanta, Georgia last December 2019. Growing up with her grandparents, she championed her advocacy in Elderly Care during the competition.
Her father is a Palestinian and her mother is a Filipina, who got separated when she was still young.
On her recent Instagram stories, she posted screenshots of her video calls with her father who is currently in Gaza. In the video call, her father was showing her what Gaza looks like at 7 PM.

Gazini also mentioned how her father was still smiling with the view of Gaza despite their critical situation.
Also, in one of the stories, she expressed her sympathy toward her ‘brothers and sisters’ who are suffering the inhumane effects of the conflict between Gaza and Israel.
She offered prayers for everyone’s safety, and has hoped for them to be kind and hopeful amidst the situation.

Gazini further encourage her followers to give hug and kiss to their loved ones, and also show how they truly love and care for them before it’s too late.
Gazini met her father for the first in January 2020.
