Philippines Shines in India: Krishnah Gravidez Named Miss World Asia
Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez may not have brought home the country’s second Miss World crown, but her grace and determination gave Filipino pageant fans every reason to celebrate and be proud.
The 24-year-old model and beauty queen from Baguio City did not win the elusive blue crown, still she was honored with the title of Miss World Asia. This year’s Miss World winner is Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand.
During the 72nd Miss World Finals held on May 31, 2025, in Telangana, India, Gravidez concluded her journey with a Top 8 finish and was later named the continental queen for Asia.
Here is the final result of the Miss World 2025 pageant:
- Miss World 2025 – Opal Suchata Chuangsri, Thailand
- First Runner-up and Miss World Africa – Hasset Dereje Admassu, Ethiopia
- Second Runner-up and Miss World Europe – Maja Klajda, Poland
- Third Runner-up and Miss World Caribbean – Aurelie Joachim, Martinique
- Miss World Americas – Jessica Pedroso, Brazil
- Miss World Asia – Krishnah Gravidez, Philippines
- Miss World Oceania – Jasmine Stringer, Australia
This is not the first time a delegate from the Philippines has earned a continental title in an international beauty pageant.
In July 2024, Alethea Ambrosio of Bulacan was crowned Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania during the grand coronation night of Miss Supranational held in Poland.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Manalo, also from Bulacan, earned the title of Miss Universe Asia during the Miss Universe 2024 finals held in Mexico last November.
