Did Antonio Trillanes IV Just Say He's Willing To Become The Next Ninoy Aquino To "Free" The Philippines?
I don't know if "I'm Not a Democrat I'm Nacionalista" party member Antonio Trillanes IV really sayd he's willing to become the next Ninoy Aquino. I simply read it from Top News.PH and I want to take it with a grain of salt because not all of the fake news come from the Dilawan crowd. Unfortunately, some Dutertards are also responsible for spreading their own fake news or worse some even fell for obviously satirical content. How true this news is I wish it could be verified.
But let's just assume that Trillanes will go to to jail and get shot. From what I hear the late Ninoy Aquino was someone who was not a hero. From listening to some of Ninoy's speeches he was more of a person who couldn't shut up. What's more is that it's highly possible that Ninoy didn't die for political ambition or in an act of heroism. Instead, he died out a result of his inattentiveness which isn't heroism at all.
Let's just assume an angry critic decides to kill Trillanes or a rival gang. You can think of what if somebody from a rival party or someone from Makabobo, Anak Ng Bobo or any of the activist groups decided to murder him. Another possible scenario is that he simply dies in a crossfire or by a random bullet. Either way let's assume Trillanes dies from any unnatural death which involves either abusive policemen, abusive soldiers or just any random thugs. How would that affect the nation?
I don't think his death will launch a successful EDSA-3 as much as he wants to believe it. Instead, it might end up with nationwide celebration. You can think of how he's not getting any love any more in the Philippine poltical arena. He lost the vice-presidency and fortunately, Marbobo Roxas also lost it otherwise the Philippines may no longer exist. Maybe there would be some but it wouldn't be a successful EDSA. Instead, his death may only have the opposite effect of Ninoy's death. It might end up as a day of celebration for Pinoys who have had enough of his stupidity.
