How Can Florin Hilbay Talk About Unjust Socio-Economic Structures While Supporting The Defective 1987 Constitution?
It's such a shame really how sometimes the most stupid people come from the most educated and intelligent of people. You can talk about Neri Colmenares as a lawyer who graduated from San Beda College. Mar Roxas graduated from Wharton University. Winnie Monsod graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Those are very prestigious schools. Now we can talk about another lawyer namely Florin Hilbay or better renamed as Flower Hillbilly who went from a top notcher of the bar to becoming a real laughingstock. Hmmm... this proves that the fight against one's own stupidity isn't purely based on educational attainment huh?
Now I got this update from GRPundit which has another stupid statement from someone who's supposedly way more intelligent than I am:
Poverty is overwhelmingly NOT a choice; people are simply born into it. It is artificial, & strips people of dignity. It's the consequence of an unjust socio-economic structure, entrenched & legitimized by the legal system.
The most recent example of this injustice is TRAIN.
Poverty is not a choice? That's only partly right. But does he realize poverty can be a choice? You don't choose to be born poor but you choose whether or not you want to remain poor. So don't tell me that all the middle class and the rich must allow themselves to be robbed by the poor?
Okay, how can he talk about unjust-socio-economic systems when he supports the super defective 1987 Constitution? Does he think that the economic protectionist rule that limits foreign investors' entry too much is just? Does he think that the Imperial Manila system is a fair social structure for non-Tagalog Pinoys?

So how is TRAIN or the Tax Reform more unjust? Does he think that the 32% ceiling tax on the PHP 500,000.00 is just? Decreasing the rates of income taxes would be better for this reason. There will be much less reasons to evade and tax evaders can be reformed into responsible taxpayers. The current tax system doesn't make it palatable to pay taxes aside from the misuse and abuse of legal funds through legalized theft.
I guess this guy is thinking his bar score may still be relevant. Hate to break it to him but living in your past success is a sure way to failure. You can think of why some franchises are now rotting. It's because they think they became a huge hit in the past that they'll always be a huge hit. I guess he thinks all his errors are justified by his being a topnotcher in the past. Sorry but his bar score won't make his factual errors as facts. So what's next? He would contemplate a case against everyone who talked bad about him like Get Real Philippines?
