Couple Worries for Beautiful Sampaguita Vendor Who Still Sells at 11PM
There are so many children living and earning money in the streets. What’s sad is that many of them still stay in the streets even late at night, selling stuff or simply hanging out because they really have nowhere else to go.
Recently, Honney RJ Balasabas and her husband Onnie were at a traffic stop when they were approached by a beautiful sampaguita vendor. According to her post on Facebook, Honney learned from her husband that this girl often sells sampaguita in the area, even as late as 11PM!
Seeing that this is such a beautiful young girl, Honney snapped some photos. The girl refused Onnie’s offer to simply accept their payment for the sampaguita but continue to sell the flowers to other motorists. She explained that she already wants to go home.
Honney admired the girl but was also worried about the child sometimes selling sampaguita late in the night. Seeing that she is so beautiful, Honney was concerned that there might be people who will take advantage of her or even take her somewhere to make money out of her beauty.
In her post, Honney shared that they met the girl again after a few days. The girl smiled as she snapped some photos but the worried couple hoped that the girl will be safe as she continues selling in the streets.
Of course, other kids in the streets are also as vulnerable as this young girl but because of her beauty, she stands out from the others and could be targeted by people with bad intentions. Just like Honney and Onnie, we hope that this girl and the countless kids in the streets will remain safe…
