This quote was expressed by an American motivational Speaker Tony Robbins, and by which artist Ms. Sheila Paren has proven that this quotation is precise —  showcasing her acrylic paintings on wood slices.

Acrylic painting is a type of painting wherein aside from canvas boards, it can also be used on papers, woods, metals and other materials. Although it is very possible to paint on different materials using acrylic paints, it is highly advisable to research on dos and don’ts of using acrylic paints on chosen surface materials.

Another advantage of using acrylic paints is that artists can easily clean their brushes since it only needs water for cleaning. But as a disadvantage, acrylic paint easily  dries up; hence, it requires artists to work on their pieces quickly. This is opposite to oil painting wherein an artist can go back to it the next day, and still be able to blend colors since it is still wet.
